Meet Jaxon Avery... the newest addition to the cutest family of 4 - who happened to have made the Chicago-to-South-Florida move almost around the same time I did. I traveled to their home in Palm Beach Gardens for this indoor newborn shoot, just 15 days after Jaxon was born. Between feedings and tears and naps, I captured as many teeny-tiny newborn features that I could. Every parent will tell you, the time goes by way too fast when they're that small... and they're definitely never going to be that small again. Not only do I focus on the details, but I also always include the parents' hands and things in some of the photos, just to really show you how tiny your little baby once was. Three year old, Dylan, was already stepping into the big brother role, as well as stealing some of the spotlight because I simply can not resist his contagious smile. This family booked a First-Year-Package to make sure they capture as much as possible of Jaxon's first 365 days of life. We'll be doing another session at 3 months, 6 months and 12 months - so be prepared to see this little face again and again around here!

Remember this little bug born back in May?! Well he keeps getting bigger... and fast! Since it would be silly to blog his 3 month portraits at the same time as his Baptism event photos and some shots from 4.5 months... I'll just combine a few of my favorites from the past couple months all in one post. Hope it doesn't overwhelm you with cuteness. Next up will be holiday portraits - I can't wait to see how much he's grown! You don't have to deny it... I know you can't either.
15 days new baby boy | South Florida Newborn Photographer
Something a little different: Not only did I take a break from my concert shooting, but I took a break from Chicago last week and traveled to Florida... where I fell in love. Meet Noah. Not only is he clearly ADORABLE, but he was the perfect little model at 15 days old. He better get used to seeing my camera lens pointed toward him, because there will be a ton more photo sessions in his future. Around the time of his next 3 month session, his mom and I will be celebrating our 20 year best friend anniversary. You jealous? You should be. I'm so happy that my second family just grew by one - one little 7lb bundle of cuteness. Get ready to AWWWH...
